Our Community Library needs your help.

library summer2_1Community Library has served Big Walnut area residents since 1944. As the community has grown, the library has responded by continually offering new materials, services and programs. The library currently receives more than 130,000 patron visits per year. Our community depends on the library as a free source of books, movies, Internet access, employment research and much more.

In the past decade the library has lost 20% of its state funding. Community Library is seeking to renew our community’s funding this November. If the measure is passed, taxes will not be increased, yet the library will be able to continue offering many great services to the Big Walnut community. Without your support the library will have half of its revenue terminated, which in turn will reduce staff, hours, and programs.

There are many ways you can help. You can volunteer to help get the word out. You can contribute to the Citizens for Community Library. Finally, remember to vote on November 4.

Vote YES for our Community Library on November 4!
